Teacher charged with trespassing on ex boyfriends's office

A teacher was charged at the magistrate's court here today with trespassing into her ex-boyfriend's office in March.

N. Retha, 41, however pleaded not guilty when the charge was read out before Magistrate G. Phulrani Kaur.

According to the charge, the single mother is accused of criminal trespass by entering the office of P. Navaneeth, 35, at a clinic near here at 3pm on March 3.

The charge falls under Section 447 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum jail term of six months or a fine of up to RM3,000, or both, upon conviction.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Nor Syahirah Azahar proposed bail of RM4,000 for the accused, with the condition that she does not disturb the victim until the case is resolved.

The court set October 18 for mention.
