Chris im struggling to move past the firebase authentication on your more advanced courses, my aim is to build a shift/slot booking app for Locum healthcare professionals. features to include a calendar/date picker, menu, MAPkit, 3rd party database verification and payment tracking.
so far I've managed only the app icon, landing page, signup, login without firebase, tutorial page. please help me with some advice on how to move past this hurdle. swift language is also challenging to grasp.

hello cChris I am working on a school project in which i will be making an app however I don't know if the computer we use (Raspberry Pi 3) has a version of swift in which we can download. if you have any suggestions or a way to download swift that would be great thank you!

And the students have to learn how to read Apple’s documentation. Apple does not provide examples within the documentation.
For Example: I want to read the path from a Path Control and store it into a string variable. So I search for "NSPathControl XCode“ and find this:
_class NSPathControl : NSControl_
But what does this mean? What do I have to type to get the string? I do not understand the documentation.
