My rumours suggest that Giant man-eating Anaconda had probably survived the extinction and barely unchanged for 60 million years ago. Some theory the Giant Anaconda is an references of real-life fossilized remains of Titanoboa that roamed the earth of Palaeocene age.

Compared to the whole "40 foot long, several hundred pound snake that can move faster than a human can sprint and hold the majority of its body in the air" deal, the bolt-action rifle that functions like a semi-automatic is honestly more realistic.
