The Prigozhin rebellion was not ‘snuffed out’ and ‘brutally put down’. Prigozhin *stopped* the rebellion in the face of little to no resistance, and he was killed in a cowardly manner by Putin. No sign of strength from Putin in either of those actions

Ukraine has just hit a Russian ferry - the "Conro Trader" - carrying 30 fuel railway tanks in the port of Kavkaz (not far from the Crimean bridge). The explosion was massive. It has now sunk - and was the last remaining ferry capable of transporting fuel tanks.

Sending conscripts is a losing strategy. Redeploying troops is exposing them to Ukrainian attacks. I wouldn't have guessed that Ukraine would do this, but it seems to be working.

As an American closely following every move of this war, I am not growing weary but getting frustrated with the restrictions and slow delivery of money and weapons, ammunition etc that has been promised but not yet received by Ukraine. I lived through WW2 and want to see Ukraine given what they need to defeat Putin and rid the world of this tyrant.
I believe in Ukraine and their fight to save their country and regain their total sovereignty.
Ukraine needs to be in NATO to prevent Russia from ever attacking it again.

I don’t think Russia has the force to push back the Ukrainian out of the Kursk, if your forces being sent are Conscript army and they don’t have enough military hardware to back them up. Even their air force is incapable of attacking Ukrainian position.

Russia doesn't have the means for a 'massive counter-offensive'... they have to decide which part of the war they can afford to lose. Ukraine is showing increasing strength -- Russia increasing weakness.

One of the conscripts who were captured said that not only didn't he have a weapon, but he had never actually fired a military weapon before. ' conscripts ' are basically suburban moscow and St petersburg kids who were given ' safe ' jobs so their parents can brag about them serving... It happened a little in the USA ( ie Bush2 joining the air national guard in texas instead of going to vietnam)... but in russia, basically every non-poor family in the Moscow/Pete regions have their kids safely protected.
