-ahri is pretty squishy champion like most mages, so make sure to check map and ward to avoid jungler gank and understanding you opponent midlane champion, if the enemy mid is also mages just do normal exchange, but if the enemy is yone or yasuo you could have range advantage and poking, but if you opponent good, either yasuo or yone could kill you even at level 3 due to their ability combo (as someone who mainly use yone in mid and top, when encountering champion with good poking or range advantage, i just let them win minion wave and kill it under turret, but when reach level 5, my favorite tactic is let enemy champion close as posible to turret, save 1st ability to unlock dash using minion, and then hit 3rd ability, 1st ability dash (but make sure dash behind the champion), and then ult, but the ult was in the direction of the turret so i drag the champion to turret, even if use dash the champion will still get hit and most of the time death) i find it effective tactic, specially when dealing tank champion like the new orn and voli, tested it on orn a few days ago, manage to win early toplane game push
- ahri as versatile and mobile mid lane are perfect for ganking, so for full potention if you kill or bleed the enemy to the point the enemy midlane need go back to base you have time to gank hard, or help jungler kill objective, herald and dragon.
-in a group war, despite chaotic, you could survive even during group close combat, but you need to be good at timing when using you ult and other combo, there is a lot of case ahri survive group war ir melee brawl, the enemy mostly still alive but low health you could finished it if the ult was not used yet
