They should have microbial shroud stick to the units its casted on, instead of just a static area. That way, you can micro out of the storms and still get the damage reduction benefit from the shroud against the skytoss for the full duration of the spell.

Have you considered... retreating out of the storms? Like I'm not arguing that the ability sucks, but there's nothing forcing you to stand and fight in the storms.

Imagine going from infested terrans to this shit. Infestors beccome one of the best and versatile units to a unit that can only cast fungal. And most of the time die to random aoe spell not even meant for it because it is literal paper.

I dont think Shroud should affect spells like Storm or the Disruptor thing, but it should at least have less cost or a larger area, or protect from ground attacks as well

Shroud is just Dark Swarm with a smaller surface area- but similarly, storm ALSO has a smaller surface area compared to Brood War's storm. Just take over one of the emerging HT and feedback the others. Done.

Microbial shroud lasts 11 seconds, you have time to dodge a few storms and still fight in the cloud. You can't expect to be able to blindly a move an army just because you cast a spell.

Toss have 3 types of units, zergs have 2. I think you just missing ultra in the mix. Even if VR destroy ultras, they will give time to hydras kill everything in the air and you still can control HT to storm they own forces

Shroud is bigger and last longer than storm, you can have a smaller group of hydras and queen in front tanking inside shroud and the hydra clump in back safe from storm, shredding interceptors, this guy used 3 shrouds overlapping instead of spreading them out to give more room to avoid storms. also there is moments when toss dont have storm or is flying somewhere templar cant come. Protoss with 800 more gas is not fair either, should be alot more hydras or better upgrades.

Por eso nadie utiliza esa habilidad en el lader, de que sirve reducir el daño de los ataques aereos si aun asi te caen las tormentas, no te puedes quedar ahi, los terran infestados eran mas utiles que esa porqueria de habilidad xd

Все, как всегда, упирается в позицию. Сможешьподловить штормеров линго-бейнами -- скайтосс полетит прахом. Не сможешь - ты полетишь.
К тому же здесь важно, что по деньгам армия зерга дешевле но лимита жрет больше. Масс-масс воздух все равно сильнее, так что нужно его постоянно мять, не давая выйти в смертельный лимит из двадцати батлов и двадцати штормов.
Как по мне, либо гидра-вайперов надо, как серрал гоняет, либо играть от разводов с сотнями и тысячами собак на все базы

Haha dumbest example ever. Whattt a damage reduction skill doesn’t help when I’m fighting 8 tier 3 enemy units and 8 perfectly placed storms on unarmored units…..shocker
