Sigh, where to begin with this silly rant. No one is saying we will get rid of free Enterprise and if your "progressive friends" spout this then I suggest you get more intelligent friends. Universal healthcare will not sacrifice free Enterprise, free college education will not sacrifice free Enterprise, fair and balanced wages will not sacrifice free Enterprise. Entrepreneurship is fostered by community developments made possible by socialism. Roads, schools, libraries, clinics, etc etc, are all needed for free Enterprise to grow. This fear mongering is pretty rich coming from a guy that made money by being bought out by a heavily regulated and socialized Canadian bank (TD) that reaps benefits from Canadian tax payers and regulations. TD would have gone bankrupt years ago had it been allowed to follow it's base capitalist impulses. Luckily a democratic socialist govt like in Canada prevented this, and in turn this guy got lucky. He should be thanking socialist systems that made him rich and not cutting the ropes behind him.

Kudos to CBS for putting Mr. Ricketts on the air, for even 2 minutes. There has been no better system than free enterprise in the history of mankind - if you have one, let me know!

I immigrated to America because it's free market capitalism here. I have a few issues because of high taxes the state of New York has, but I hope that gets lowered through budget cuts.
Politicians love to give away free stuff. The solution is less bureaucracy.
