My grandfather wrote this song (words and music) while he was in the Korean War. When he returned home, he received a bronze star and sold this song to a man who later sold it to Perry Como. His name is listed in the Catalog of copywrite enries, volume 3. His name was Leslie Ray Wohlgemuth. ❤❤. This song was originally called "Impossible".

It's Impossible is the english version of Somos Novios, which was one of my parents' favorite songs. The lyrics are not exact translations, but both equally beautiful and incredibly romantic. I absolutely love this song. I used to serenade my parents with this song on their anniversary as I watched them dance. We lost Mom in 2018 and Dad passed last month. Perhaps they are dancing together in heaven now. Mom and Dad, I love you so much and miss you so. Until we meet again. ❤❤❤

I’m about to be 58 and the gentleman that posted before me says he’s 89 and no one will ever replace his entertainers. There are a few that come close but it’s not the same. These songs we grew up with these last 50 years are irreplaceable it’s impossible to replace these entertainers.

I grew up listening and watching his variety show. My mom had his albums. My mom was dying. I played this for her. She lifted her head and said "I love it." It was our moment together. This song means a great deal to me.

There was an elegance and class missing today. These old timers represented beautiful music that was dignified.

This song is so beautiful. I heard it a ton when I was a little girl. Then I listened to it again for the first time in years a couple months ago and I started crying. It was like I was just now realizing how beautiful this song is or I was just getting super nostalgic from hearing it for the first time in over a decade…I don’t know. But I listened to it like 30 times and I had tears streaming down my face that whole time. It’s almost other worldly sounding…like it’s too beautiful to be real
