I saw this wasp like insect the other day it had a thin wasp like body and had huge tall grasshopper legs and was really fast I can't find any pictures of it any where and I don't know if it was a type of wasp or some thing else.

I just found what I belive to be a ball faced hornet!... there's only 6 of them and their yellow triangle shaped bands are almost white. Very cool. I think I'll keep the hive, neutralize it and then hang it on a branch next to my trophy buck!

in montreal canada i'm not sure if they are the plecinid or the mud dauber or black wasp but i see like 1.5 to 2 inch long wasps when i was a kid. wish i knew what they were

I killed a wasp with raid, it looks like the yellow jacket but it's brown in between the black is it a wasp, I hope it's not a honey bee, I sprayed raid and it dive bombed me. I found it on the floor, I have cats and a dog and I didn't want them getting stung. Help?
