How to change lanes automatically – BMW How-To

Learn in this video how to change lanes automatically via the Lane Change Assistant. The Lane Change Assistant supports the driver when changing lanes on multilane roads. If the traffic situation allows lane changes, push and hold the turn indicator lever in the required direction as far as the resistance point to indicate briefly. After a short period, you will notice steering assistance in the desired direction and a green arrow symbol in the instrument cluster when changing lanes.

The option of driving is missing my "Driver assistance" manu. Not sure if it has been decoded for Australia. How can I add it back?

I took delivery of my brand new X5 G05 JU81' and my vehicle have the "Driving Assistant Professional & Park Assistant plus" and having watched your video, have followed the instructions to activate it but when I tested it on the highway at a cruising speed of 80km, with the indicator input the car didn't execute it. Does this only work on 7 series only??? Will appreciate a step-by-step instruction for BMW X5. This is my 1st time owning BMW. Thanks
