just one point-

client mode- the driver programme will run in its local machine in Client mode, whereas the driver programme / application master will create one of the worker nodes inside the cluster in cluster mode

Great explanation. You made it simple to understand. I have some doubts though. As mentioned, in cluster mode, the driver process will run in the application master on one of the worker nodes. My question is, whether this worker node will also be used for execution of tasks ? In one of the videos related to memory allocation, you did mention about reserving one executor for AM. Can you elaborate on this part ?
