There's only 3 reasons a kid might need to have a minifridge:
1. to store personal medicine/healthcare products that needs to stay chilled.
2. to store personal snacks/food items that due to dietary/medical restrictions aren't allowed to be in the communal fridge or need to be kept close.
3. if there is a major rift/trauma among the kids where giving them agency and control over their own snacks is good for therapy reasons and/or to stave off disordered eating.

Those videos are fantasies. I doubt any kid is allowed near those perfectly aesthetically pleasing fridges. Because then the fridge would NO LONGER look like that after a few days. It'd be scuffed, dinged, sticky, stained by markers/paint, covered in stickers and there would be glitter and/or crumbs in the weirdest places. I bet there is NO footage of any kid using any of those products 'stocked' in those fridges and if there is, the videos are probably just as staged and fake as the restocking videos.
Those restocking videos are for the poster looking for internet clout. The cost is worth it for them to get the attention.
My bet is that either they throw away the food products after the video, or take them back out and put them on the table for the family breakfast/lunch that day.
As for the non-food ones... those items certainly get thrown out the moment they find another reason to make a 'restocking' video, or when the trend fades and something else takes its place.

A 4 year old don’t need a fridge all they need is manners to ask for food 😭💀

I was obsessed with fridgescaping, food organization, etc when I was DEEP in my anorexia. Not healthy to fixate on food THAT MUCH

I think the only mini fridge I’ve seen that isn’t purely for aesthetics is LauraLove. It’s not just snacks and sugar, it’s ingredients because she has taught her toddlers basic food prep and cooking skills.

I think if they had hobbies they wouldn’t feel the need to do all of this. It’s like they’re grasping at straws because they forgot what actual hobbies are

restockers should go work at target since theyre roleplaying it at home

I really hate stuff like the first lady buying all the stuff for her daughter and saying she's excited for it... my mom would always buy me crap and clothes that I didn't like, want, or need, imposing her taste on me, when she would hem and haw every time I asked for something I actually wanted. I finally told her as a pre teen that I didn't want her to buy anything for me that I didn't pick out. I still have to catch her to stop her from doing it some times because I'm very picky about what I bring into my house because I hate decluttering and having to throw crap away I didn't even want in the first place. I can't imagine how much longer this process is for other kids that aren't as annoyingly independent, it probably takes them until their twenties to find a personality

Having a mini fridge for a foster kid that has trauma from food insecurity would be so wholesome

My mom does have guest stuff in her guest bathroom but it's like a fabric basket from the 90s file with hotel stuff she's collected/Avon samples and the extra toothbrushes and toothpaste from the dentist visits. That's how you do a guest bathroom "stock" imo.

I feel like parenting is an aesthetic now to a lot of people and I'm so over it.

10:43 have you ever seen a toddler trying to open a bottle? Seeing how the mother is literally filling these tiny ass bottles to the brim, I'm damn sure half of it is going to spill as soon as it's opened. These bottles ain't more than just pure wasteful junk.

My grandma is 86 now and spent most of her childhood during the second world war. When she tells me stories about what they ate back then and how they cooked it… finding a piece of meat somewhere and cutting the moldy parts off to eat the rest, boiling water and throwing bones of pigs in it to give it some kind of taste. My parents were born in the 60s and both of their families were JUST getting along with housing and feeding the kids. And then I was born in 2000. I had absolutely everything I could have ever asked for. BUT THIS SH*T SHOWN IN THE VIDEO… just WTF. My grandma refuses to use plastic, she freezes food leftovers and never throws food away. Those were the lessons she taught my dad and then me. I was taught that food is a gift and that I have to value it, that a full stomach is a blessing. Today’s level of consumerism is INSANE. Why would a toddler ever need this amount of sugary food and drinks accessible at all times? All these cosmetic products for WHAT? How do they learn the true value of things? Food is an aesthetic nowadays thanks to TikTok and not what it’s supposed to be: something that keeps us ALIVE. I feel sorry for all the kids growing up thinking that they‘ll never be good enough because they’re getting drowned in cosmetics from an early age thinking that that’s the only way to feel beautiful. This is so sad man. Wow.

I thought it was "extra" when I was a kid and would visit my bougie aunts houses and they'd have bathrooms with the fancy matching hand towels and bowl of multi color seashell hand soaps on the counter. This is so far beyond unnecessary it's ridiculous. Your family is visiting for the weekend. You don't need to open a pop-up drug store in your guest bathroom.

21:20 This tiktok makes me sad because imagine the difference she would make if she made hygiene packs with this stuff and gave it to the homeless

"My 4 years old LOVES to do makeup..." Does she really? Or is it actually you that wants her to do so? Watch that kid to go make some "Get ready with me" videos when she's 8...

If I left canisters full of hair bands and plasters my little girl would literally open all the plasters and lose the hair bands all over the house lol this isn’t realistic 😂

The ONLY acceptable thing in this video was the toothpaste dispenser imo… 4 year olds usually can’t squeeze the tube without it getting absolutely everywhere so I feel like it’s practical in that it helps with independence but prevents the bathroom from becoming a mess of toothpaste globs 💀
