Things I love about this: 1) your child's health was the most important consideration 2) it wasn't automatically assumed that Mom would stay home with the kids 3) you're making education not only fun but memorable.

Even without seeing their faces you can tell from body language that they're genuinely happy and excited about what they're learning and seeing. The sort of engaged learning homeschooling provides is known to be more thorough and retained longer.

I was home schooled and I was great friends with this girl next door who went to public school.

She was so jealous of my school days and I was actually ahead of her in several subject - it wasn’t because she’s dumb or anything, she just had to go at the pace the school sets versus me going at my own pace.

When she was in 4th grade, I was reading at a high school level and doing 7th/8th grade math and science.

My school days were from 9am - about 12/1pm, the rest of the day was going outside and doing sports, going to a museum of some sort, or learning a home skill (chores, cooking, wood working, car fixes, etc)

Field trips were trips to other states to learn about each state’s history/American history. We typically drove to these states so we can stop along the way in other states and learn something about our journey.

And we did a couple international trips to the countries I really took interest in - Germany, Japan, and Israel. That was really fun too.

My family doesn’t come from money at all either - I grew up in a trailer home and when I turned 16 my parents bought their first house. My parents just prioritized things differently and taught me that you don’t have to check certain boxes in a certain order like what society tells you to do. You can be successful in any order that is right for you as long as you follow through and don’t give up if you fail.

Edit: please know that I understand today’s times are much different. Most households require a two-person income in order to keep up with cost of living.
I’m in no way saying that people who go to public school are dumb or their parents don’t care. Parents try so much for their kids and if public school is the only option then that’s what you have to do. My home school experience was late 90’s - mid ‘00s. So yes, times were different.

But if you do well today, I simply recommend homeschooling if you can swing it. If you can’t, then you can’t.

This is such a dope set up. Also, the fact that her kids get to broaden their horizon by visiting so many places is a blessing. Great job parents! ❤❤

That’s what people forget! My mom was a single mom and she worked full time but she still lived this life with us. We didn’t see the world well not all of it but she would take lessons and bring us to areas we could reach in the car all around the USA. It was beautiful! And as an adult I’ll never regret that life.

Mom you are amazing. I remember taking my kids on just normal field trips when they had projects in school. Nothing on your scale just to battleships, monuments, but its the little things. Love what your doing with your children and how it will mold them.

I haven't come across any video yet where this creator's tone has changed or words have matched any rude digital energy.
She answers/responds with no clapbacks or anger and it's soooo refreshing.
As a viewer I do not want to be subjected to verbal abuse/windmilling while watching content.

Love the kids' work stations. The mini-fridges are a bonus! How can they help but be successful in that "office" space.😍

Omg! Love this for you all! My husband stays home with our three girls because all of his businesses can be worked from home, and I teach.

I developed M.E during the pandemic and going back to school was too much for me healthwise and mentally too. I was tutored at home for just over a year and it was the best decision ever! My health improved a lot and the anxiety of having to endure the horrors of an inner city school went away. Your kids are going to be so thankful when they're older ❤
