In my experience Ka = 👮‍♀️ every time, K and X = No 👮‍♀️.

Teaching is an art that few have mastered and you sir have a gift in that domain.
Most of the time people would think the speaker is too fast that’s why they didn’t understand the topic but you speak slightly fast but still every word gets in and every statement is understood.
With that being said I subbed, not that I’m a radar detector enthusiast but I might learn a thing or two here.
Thank you!

Great video and thank you for the clarification on the different bands. I finally turned the X bands off with my R4 and R8. I have yet to run into any legitimate X bands here in Michigan.

Great video. Packed with great information but still easy to digest. I like this video series.

Can't wait to learn about the different frequencies broken down by band. I have always wondered about that since getting my R3

About 500 meters before coming to a place with a fixed speed camera, the signal comes k frequency signal, but in a place where there is no fixed speed camera or a police radar, it also receives x frequency or k frequency. what is the reason for it? is it possible that it comes from a radio station as interference?

Good Morning, Do you have a YouTube Vlog on the latest hand held radar guns the police are using? and what bands not to filter on a 360MAX C? I see motor police units using what look like a new type of radar gun and my unit is not going off while they are pointing at me.

Love the videos! I work with self driving cars that use Velodyne lidars. I think this is a interesting area that you should start talking about with the rise of self driving cars becoming a thing. Hope to see more videos in the future!

I'm confused about your comment that X band is used in rural areas in North Carolina. The Academy of Justice which overseas the training and certification of LEO radar operators stopped training and certifying X band radar back in 2012. Nobody has a current certification to run X band radar in the state. What information do you have that it's still being used aside from the Unicorn sightings from people who are picking up X band false alerts on their detectors? K band is slowly being phased out too as the state wants to limit the number of devices they train on to save money.

Great video, very informative. Living in Ohio (Cleveland area), I need to leave X band on, but can I filter it?

Great work as always. But I thought you had once said you were planning to put together some tutorials on how Police radar actually works & factors that can affect your range. That alone would make the forum more tolerable. Tired of reading threads about possible defective units.
