For the last 60 years China has never Tariffs on European cars 🤔 but Europe cannot tolerate just one year 🤨. Is that an international trading method ❓❓🤔.

Chinese farmers are working hard for pennys on their produces from the land, it's time for China to protect its farmers and raise that farm/dairy produces tariff against EU and US. Protect your farmers, China.

This is actually good for china because china avoids getting their products to be stranded in EU territory since EU purchase-power is getting very eroded and people are gettung more reluctant to buy any new cars especially EVs. The sad rrality in EU!

Chinese were the major buyers of Germany's made luxury cars. So who will be a big winner or loser now?

I rather be able to buy a car I can afford than spend 10 times the amount locally. Anyways, the US is telling EU to do this to keep china from having an edge in the world economy.

China has 15% tariff on car imports. Some vehicles have much higher tariffs as well.

It's fundamental economics to not allow your industrial base to be hollowed out by major importing. Manufacturing has a huge network of component, technology and materials manufacturing. It's much more than just the end auto factory.

Meanwhile a lot of China's automakers are loosing money and most will go bust as with any start up industry. So protectionism is a long game to win or lose.

Well try to sell something to China. Good luck.

The Chinese want to take the EU / USA car market with cheap (government sponsored) EREV cars.

Very simple we have to protect our markets and jobs.

So yes... higher tariffs. Make it a more honest game.

Otherwise the Chinese will control everything in time. We will be very depended.

And you don't want that
