The four Dharmic religions (Hindu-Buddhist-Jain-Sikhism) native to the land of Bharat share ideas of Karma, Dharma, Samsara, Moksha, and Yoga.

These religions share many similarities in core beliefs, modes of worship, and associated practices with 'Om' being the highest energy source. Ek Omkar.
In Buddhism Dhamma is the Prakrit word for the Sanskrit word Dharma and in Jainism, the word "Dharma" is termed as 'dharmastikaay' and In Sikhism called 'Dharman'.

Respect all the 4 🙏

The view of Buddhism stated in this video is of the Mahayana and Theravada. If one were to study the Buddhist vehicle of Vajrayana they would see the practice of many deities, very similar yogas as well as the idea that devotion can bring us to awakening as was the case with Naropa.

1)The person who wrote the puranas was actually born in a farmer class later he found enlightenment and became a brahmin...
Infact there r multiple sources where the lower caste becomes a brahmin

2) also in the tripitak why is it so that a bodhisattva can only take birth in first three classes not the shudra?

ya we advise ppl to get things down with Buddhism before engaging in how rich Hinduism you have to unpack a lot of your conditioning first

#2Spirit #indigenous #spirituality

Buddhism is a form of Monotheism focused on Source (light) instead of the Sky like the 3 Abrahamic Religions

Hinduism goes more into detail with other forces of nature

No matter what the NAME of the religion or whether it has one God or many Gods or no Gods at all ... the ULTIMATE TRUTH IS ... THOUGHTS ARE THINGS ... THOUGHTS LEAD TO WORDS ... AND WORDS LEAD TO ACTIONS ... therefore, it's really important that we KNOW WHAT WE ARE THINKING ... and HOW WE ARE THINKING ... and that we OBSERVE OUR THOUGHTS ... ACKNOWLEDGE OUR THOUGHTS ... AND DECLUTTER OUR THOUGHTS on a regular basis ... we have built so many ELABORATE ways of doing these simple practices when really we have no need to make them complex.

So, I never heard of any great wars between them? Contrast with Western religions. Or do I have that wrong?

The Vedic priests got together and claimed that Siddhartha Gautama Buddha was a physical manifestation of Vishnu who's purpose was to lead all his followers to Hell. This is because none of them could defeat any debates against the Buddha so the simply incorporated the Buddha into their religion.

There are serious lacuna & corrections in the similarities between hinduism & Buddhism.

1. Buddhism is man centric & not not god centric. Hinduism is doesn't take into account of an individual & totally god centric.

2. Buddha advocated serious & deep inquiry for truth in any matter before accepting it. Hinduism emphasizes blind faith in the almighty.

3. Buddhism is based on history & there no fictions but only facts in it. Hinduism is based on imagination & fictious stories woven around it.

4. Buddha expounded Karma in its fullest sense. That is the sole basis of one's birth. In Hinduism even karma is subject to God's will & secondary in deciding the life of an individual.

5. Till the advent of Buddha Hindus were beef eaters. Brahmin priests used to perform " ashwamega yagam" sacrificing horses & cattles to appease gods & eat the meat. Hindus embraced vegetarian subsequently.

6. Buddhism has been followed as a religion after his maha parinivana ( death). Hinduism was the handy work of aryan invaders.

7. Buddhism is absolutely violence free. Hinduism as per its scriptures advocated violent punishments based on caste higherarchy.

8. Hinduism is inbuilt with inequality in men at birth. It has put the brahmins at the top in society even exonerating & forgiving their crimes. This was not so as regards other castes.

9. Buddha disregarded rituals & prayers as useless. He laid emphasis only on doing good karma. Hinduism is brahminical at its core. It lays emphasis on rituals & prayers to gods superseding even one's Karma.

10. Buddhism is the only non violent religion. All other religions had had violence in their history.

11. Buddhism has successfully spread across many countries in Asia such as China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Mongolia, Tibet, Bhutan, Srilanka, Burma, Thailand, Laos Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, etc.

12. Buddhism has universal appeal like christianity & islam unlike hinduism which is contained only in india. In Cambodia Buddhism succeeded in replacing hinduism as the sole religion & it was vice versa in india.

The information about God in hinduism is wrong, There is no god in hinduism, there is a ultimate divine being who we refer as parama brahma, and all deities are representation of that parama brahma.
The information about caste in hiduism is also totally wrong . Youe are misleading others. Castes are not based on birth, but based on your work. Do some research.
