Why not send a reporter to Mariupol or hire a trusted local reporter to get the real story instead of guessing what is happening based on satellite images ?

War crime had been the specialty of Russia for centuries

Anyone who watched the progress of the battle in Mariupol as it unfolded by freelance journalists asking civilians on the ground what was happening and who saw the films of the arrival there in 2014 of tanks from the Ukranian armed forces would understand that the overwhelming majority of the civilians choosing to remain there are more than happy to become part of the Russian federation. Isn't it about time we had both sides of the story rather than this perpetual mantra of Ukranians good guys, Russians bad guys.

An increase in graves. Well, of course there would be graves after the city was basically destroyed. The construction and clean up crews are obviously still finding people, and there are probably dead bodies in some apartment buildings that weren't even damaged because people who were sick or elderly couldn't leave.
