Why I stopped curling my hair *away* from my face

I hate when people claim that the way you part your hair can look outdated... 🙄 parting your hair a certain way totally depends on the person and what looks best on them

I look fabulous with side part and so-so with a middle part. I'd rather be considered outdated than try to be trendy and not look my best.

I will rock side parts forever, because my long face with a prominent nose looks horrific with middle parts, bangs, super short cuts or straightened hair. unless I just go bald and live in wigs and turbans for the rest of my days

I’ve said it a million times, gen Z with middle parts just isn’t old enough to notice hair thinning. They all switch to side parts eventually.

I could never get the “away from the face” to work for me. The. I started curling toward my face and realized it’s just more flattering for my face shape ❤️
