I have always wanted to see a teacher work with a golfer to correct casting. As far as I can tell I've never seen it on YT. I've seen teachers give tips on how to correct casting but never work with a golfer and show his progress. This is so instructive. I'm curious if the cure would be similar for all golferrs. Do it again and again with other golfers. Great stuff.

Tried this at the range last night, I honestly feel like I’ve won the lottery.
Great explanation and drill, thank you. ✌🏻🇨🇦

I travelled 8+hours for a lesson with Joe and it was worth it. I've played off scratch for 30+ years but was never happy with the strike and compression on my irons. With the Gears and Force plates Joe was able to quickly show me the major flaws in the swing which would never have been picked up by a teaching Pro with a camera. Have got defined targets now during practice.

Wow. First different lesson I’ve ever seen. Thx for the different thought to start the downswing.

Joe and GEARS are awesome. I need to book another session when ££££ allows.

Thank you for the lesson, Mark. The insights from both you and Joe were a real eye opener. I am continuing to work on this idea with Joe and definitely seeing my numbers moving in the right direction. I guess the real test comes when I venture back out on the course😬. Thanks once again to you, Joe, and JD Golf Academy!

Chipping with a mid iron is something I always do if I find my contact is not good. I use it mainly to break up a range session - helping me get the 'back to basics' feel and avoid having the clubs momentum swinging outside the path.

Classic Mark Crossfield content here! Mark has been teaching this to students for quite a long time now! Started with the GC2 HMT numbers but technology has definitely advanced since then. But the lessons and the fixes still hold true!

I feel totally seen- this is almost exactly the journey I have been thru in the last 12 months (although I had a bit of a leftward lurch too)

Cat face freaked me out had to rewind as I thought I imagined it 🤪

Great video Mark. Particularly liked the way you walked through the knock-on effect of pulling the handle incorrectly. This is definitely one most of us can relate to. I'd be careful doing the same with shorter clubs even though in theory it should work. I'd also imagine he moved the strike point on his club face?

On one of my last routes before I retired from UPS, I had a well healed avid golfer that bought what must have been every new Driver and putter on the market. I delivered club after club to this guy for three years. It was well into double digits. As I handed what I figured would the last one to him I asked "Did any of these things help your game?' Without a seconds pause he replied 'I've used the same clubs for years. These are for breaking." True story.

Great tips and advice as always Mark, but why the cat face at 7.47? some kind of subliminal messaging going on 🤣🤣

I’m working with JD using gears, I’m completely the opposite I deliver 7° toe up normally. Hope I get a fix when I go back in January 🤞🏻

Mark, I liked this video (love Hacking it Out too), what you said echos a lot of what Paul Wilson talks about with feeling like the body powers the swing. This idea always made sense to me and as a pretty serious junior tennis player was how I always felt about my forehand and backhand swings.

However, everytime I read articles or see videos from AMG, Monte Scheinblum, Mark Bender etc.. who seem like knowledgeable folks they really emphasize feeling like leading everything with the arms and that being the first move and main power source. Am I missing something or is it just that different folks feel different things? As the end impact position of every plus handicapper is essentially the same.
