2 hours is a loooong movie for little ones, but whi knows, maybe the makers of the movie know who they want their target market to be, but know nothing about kids. 90min is perfect for a kids movie.

The movie Lucky is 100% aimed at little kids. It is truly not a good movie, you actually get irritated with the bad dialogue and bad writing, but that's how I am an adult feel about it. Now, if you have a little kids, they will absolutely love it. The creators definitely knew their target market. I feel this could be the same. Their target market seems to be for little ones. The young ones don't care about writing, directing or the story telling.
