This poor swan was SHOT in the head...

Quite a few months ago now, you may have seen our social media posts, about two swans that had been targeted by a gang of youths, with catapults.

Who in their right mind would shoot a swan. Honestly, things like this are just cruel and unethical. I hope whoever did this doesn't get away with it, or worse, does it again.

Many of you have been asking if the culprits were prosecuted. Sadly, the police have been unable to find the youngsters that caused the injuries.

I will just pretend the people who do that to the swan do not exist. I do not have enough negative energy to think about them. Instead I will gratefully think about the amazing team trying to save it. That includes the good people who made the call. Thank you!

This is heinous. Kids or adults, if they have dangerous weapons like that and cause such devastating injuries, they should be held fully accountable under the law. It is recognised psychology now that crimes the kids try out on animals, they are more likely to enact later on humans. This behaviour must be stopped and punished, for the sake of wildlife and society.

This saddens and maddens me to no end. Who in their right mind does that to a Swan..? Hope the little beggars get charged and that the Swan makes a recovery soon... Bless you all for helping..!
