I know this video is a little bit older but I wanted to let you know your video helped me out a lot! Thanks for keeping it straight forward. Three years later and your video is still adding value. Cheers 🍻

Thanks for the help! Word of warning my fellow amateurs, the thing that's going to mess you up is those metal clips. I popped one off completely and I cannot get it back on. The other one I pulled it off just halfway and then was able to push it back on. I'm going to have to ask a mechanic to push it back on for me. Hopefully, he'll do it for free.

you made it look real easy but wish you could have slowed down the video just enough so we could see the bottom and top removal better.

Just wondering if a Honda Accord 04 only needs one strut for hood ?

Thanks for the video. Short, and quick to the point. Ordered my parts for EBay Motors and easy installed. 🫡

when you took off strut the thick tube was on bottom connected to frame, small tube on top connected to hood. when you put the new strut on, the thin tube was on bottom, thick on top? i believe that the struts fit on specific sides of the hood. you either put it upside down or the wrong side? it looked to me as if you put the driver side new strut on the passenger OR you got struts that did not fit like the old ones? just pointing that out. would be nice to know. I will try to put my struts on the same way the old ones come off. Or maybe it doesn't matter but the ends of the struts appear to be different. one with a ball socket connection, the other with a bracket hooked to a ball joint. You tell me.

Thanks for doing this video... the careless toyota and honda are too damn cheap to add struts to their hoods. Kia, etc
does it.
It is a handicap issue...many owners are disable or may have paralyzed hands or arms and can not lift those hoods. Gee, it is common sense. The Highlander is too heavy for many seniors to lift. Get with it,
