hearing one say that today, they don't need photographers at events anymore, I can't agree more. I studied a bit of photography and dropped out because I felt useless. I was asked to be the photographer at my niece's party but I hardly took any pictures. Everyone took some with their phones, and no one asked me after the party how many pictures I had taken or if I took some of particular people. I felt really hurt that no one cared

It’s absolutely batshit crazy that the max storage Apple XS Max costs $1449USD before tax. Then most people are going to buy AppleCare, and a case. And if you have a lot on the Cloud, you’re paying for that too. After taxes, you may just have spent $2000 on essentially a phone that will be outdated by this time next year, and virtually unusable in 4-5 years. Then there’s the plan on top of that too! Think about it, you can buy a somewhat reliable mid 2000’s Corolla or Civic for that price, and they will probably last the same amount of time as the phone will. This is madness!
