ScienceCasts: NASA to Launch Carbon Observatory

NASA is about to launch a satellite dedicated to the study of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide. The Orbiting Carbon Observatory (OCO-2) will quantify global CO2 sources and sinks, and help researchers predict the future of climate change.

You kind of forgot to mention that H2O's contribution to the greenhouse effect is about 4 times greater than that of CO2, actually, higher CO2 levels would probably help plants with their growth.
Also, while greenhouse effect keeps some energy in our atmosphere, it also reflects significant amounts of energy, so it´s overall effect is much limited.

You can't see carbon dioxide! .. So, in the first two images, of the power station and the vehicle exhaust, what you were seeing was not CO2. .. (By the way, you can't smell CO2 either, unless it is in very high concentrations (it has a sharp, acidic odor). It is a dangerous gas in those very high concentrations, in a confined space.)

I wonder how much the introduction of various forms of energy from the all the nuclear industries around the world has contributed towards the global warming?
It is not just heat that is generated by the nuclear power stations, there is also the increase of radioactivity that contains very energetic particles and other energies of various frequencies.

  This is not the first carbon dioxide monitoring NASA satellite.  A study by NASA's Terra satellite from 2000-2011 showed that CO2 traps far less heat than the alarmist models predict.  Refer to the article "New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism" by James Taylor.

No. Just no.
40x10^9 tonnes CO2 that Human beings contribute to the atmosphere.
120x10^12 tonnes of Argon in the atmosphere. Trace gas that is 1 order of magnitude greater in amount.
5x10^15 tonnes of total atmospheric weight. (5 quadrillion tonnes)
The amount of CO2 we contribute is almost two orders of magnitude smaller, which equates to a percentage of roughly 0.0008% of total atmospheric weight.
This seems like a bit of a waste of money. I'm fine with climate research, but the primary focus being on CO2 and the money being spend on it is absurd.

Mankind cherishes more the commodity of oil then the Earth and it's inhabitants. Boycott the oil companies and invest in clean energy. Resurrect the electric car.

CO2 ia largely consumed by earths oceans, lakes, rivers and streams.  You can tell by how large the algae blooms are becoming in both the ocean and lakes.  Algae loves CO2.
