We review the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave truck, a new trim level to help compete against the Ford Raptor and Tacoma TRD. The updates to the Mohave include many suspension and chassis changes that we discuss. Will these updates make this one of the more desired midsized trucks in the segment? Other options are the Toyota Tacoma, Chevy Colorado, and Ford Ranger.

Jack's been such a great addition to this channel. Mark was already one of the best perspectives in the automotive press, but the chemistry between the two of them really elevates the more recent SG reviews. And really, Jack is becoming a great presenter in his own right.

Just a friendly recommendation
If you can add the price as tested right at the beginning that would be much appreciated and thank you

I agree this is THE trim for most people. I even think it might be one of the best for forest workers. Daily commutes on dirt roads can get very old very fast and most of them end up in more expensive full size pickups that probably ride better but not much on bad roads. Lets face it, the rock crawling crowd isn't huge but the weekend warrior that likes to explore is. I only wish they made it in a shorter wheelbase version. Maybe a regular cab on a Wrangler Unlimited wheelbase or a regular 4 door Wrangler with much shorter bed. Its just too long for me. The type of off roading I do is such that when I decide to turn around the road is already pretty bad...in this you'd be reversing for miles before you could turn around.

This makes so much sense. I’m not a huge off roader, but when I’ve done it, sand and high speed trails are a blast, and rock crawling is stress inducing misery. I don’t care if skid plates are designed for it, it’s not a fun sound. If tailoring it to high speed running also makes it better on road, all the better.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate these reviews. I like that they are to the point, informative, and well thought out and put together. Keep doing what you're doing.

It's difficult for me to wrap my head around the pricing of these vehicles. Loaded almost 60 grand? Jeez. I remember Mark talking about vehicle costs in his video on vehicle debt. Is this rig worth $800 /mo for 6 years (3.5%, $52000)? I just can't see it for a weekend dune buggy/truck. We have to get realistic here. Manufacturers are pricing these vehicles out of the reach of the average person.

To quote you guys, my Mojave Gladiator has character, there's a memorable experience with each drive, it's a whimsical driving encounter, and it immediately connects with my brain & my heart. I love how it hugs the road and corners in the turns. It's definitely a unique driving experience. I've only had my '21 Mojave 3 days, and it just connects with me. Mine had an original sticker price listed at $61, 575; and I drove it away from the dealer lot for $43K, with only 33K miles. I'm Jeep-hooked in a very short period of time. Thanks for the video!

Very disappointed I didn't see any footage of you guys sending it over some railroad tracks!

Also, I love this thing so much. I think you and Jack hit the nail on the head with it being unique and memorable. I drive a Toyota, and I bought it for much the same reason one would buy a KitchenAid mixer. It's not exciting, but you know it's going to last forever.

If I didn't need it to be a reliable daily driver for a few hundred K, and I had the coin, I totally would have gotten a Wrangler Rubicon instead.

Love my Gladiator and I came from the “cardboard” tacoma trd pro 6 speed manual. Had a built JK on 37’s and my Gladiator is already on 35’s. These things are beast and I still get better mpg then my taco!

I like what you all are saying about this vehicle. I wouldn't have thought that Mark would enjoy a vehicle as much as Jack S did. Now I am a happier viewer. (:

The Gladiator is a really special product from the Jeep brand. There isn't anything like it on the market today being a convertible truck with removable doors, windshield, and roof top that gives you that open air feeling/connectedness to your environment and the road around you, not to mention the insane off-road capability and character that Jeep is obviously known for.

Another fantastic review, SavageGeese. Keep up the good work, and I hope you and Jack are doing well during these challenging times.
