You can try out the lids water stain repel it it's a small bottle just like the hat club deodorizing bottle do a video on that also on the white sweat bands if you decide to get them super white clean get a toothbrush and cleaning vinegar solution shine them up real nice!

So magical question almost like washing a car, should we start cleaning the TOP of the HAT FIRST, then the BILL/VISOR and LAST the inside of the RIM with that BRUSH/ SPONGE you were using?

The only reason I ask, is because I have never done this type of cleaning, but I know we all perspire and have dirt and that could be pretty bad when cleaning it with the same sponge and then using the same sponge after cleaning all that sweat & dirt and cleaning the rest of the Just wondering if I should buy 1 sponge/ brush for the rim, bill/ visor and top of the hat?

I was going to spray clean hats with the same stuff I spray on my sneaker to keep clean. That water repellent silicone spray, but it smells toxic and prob not good to breathe.

So is that also why folks were wearing do rags to keep the sweat stain off hats?

I recently bought this but haven’t used it yet - good to know it works! One question - is there a reason you use the separate HC brush instead of the one that comes in the package?
