Your marketing team had to know expectations would be sky high by bringing back such a legendary name. As a next-gen ILX this car could have shined on its own merits, but instead the general reception to this car is "underwhelming" and "disappointing" solely because of the name.

While you might be enjoying the controversy and attention in the short term, this does a disservice to your brand. The Nissan Z and Toyota 86 are proof that sporty 2-door coupes at this price point are still in demand, and they're great examples of cars that pay homage to the past and create excitement in their brands.

The world is still waiting for a true successor to the G3 Integra. If you don't believe me just look at recent activity on prominent car auction sites.

It seems the "corporate" Acura grille and front end makes the design appear awkward and not cohesive. The Civic styling is simpler, but flows better. The front of the Integra appears too tall and out of place compared to the sharply sloping roofline. As a coupe it might be pulled off better but it's otherwise reminiscent of 1st gen Panamera proportions. Awkwardly long.

Good job Acura on continuing the CVT. Can’t wait for it not to sell. You needed a 6 speed PLUS a DCT or 10 speed auto for this to actually be a big hit.

I applaud Acura for keeping the manual and doing this all at a very reasonable price especially seeing the prices of what cars are going for now a day. I am warming up to this car the more I see and hear of it. I wished it took more styling cues from the gorgeous NSX Type S but maybe that is being saved for the Integra Type S.

Acura nailed it letting us have M/T with a fully loaded car. In the past, most all brands let you have the M/T but not with many options, pretty much base car which sucked.
But just like most high end brands, time to put AWD in that. Acura failed in not making AWD and only 200hp??? With 200hp, you’ll only stay at others rear view mirror…..

Need to see it, and drive it, … giving the Integra a solid "maybe", for now … mind you it would look nice next to my GSR,
