Ooblets is my fav! I keep going back to it. I haven’t beat it yet. I save ooblets for days I need the music. And the sarcasm. 😂

Good list! I love Dinkum and Wylde flowers (but I got bored). Ooblets and Garden Paws: not totally convinced at first (even if it's very cute), but maybe I should try again ! Still hesitating to try Harvestella, never played that kind of game. I should also maybe try Staxel ;)

Ooblets is my fav and already finish playing it. Luckily it doesn't break my old laptop like other game and it doesn't have an overheating issue.

It’s a crime stardew isn’t on this list.

I'll have to look into some of these. Out of this list, I have Littlewood, Grow: Song of the Evertree, and Graveyard Keeper. Littlewood is a bit like a smaller scale Stardew Valley with no fighting (though there are enemies that have to be avoided) and a big focus on collecting for the museum. Grow is a unique concept, and it is completely peaceful (which I like a lot), though it gets a bit grindy and repetitive after a while. Graveyard Keeper is a fun take on this genre; it manages to be cute while getting into some sketchy stuff.

One of my main problems with this genre is that these are supposed to be pleasant, relaxing games, but more often than not, it seems like combat (which for me is the opposite of relaxation) has to be tacked onto these games. In some games, the fighting is a relatively minor activity (i.e. Graveyard Keeper), but in others (i.e. Stardew Valley and My Time at Portia) it really gets to be a chore. When I'm looking for a relaxing experience, I don't want to be fighting things. This is one reason why I appreciate Grow: Song of the Evertree. It is 100% peaceful. Littlewood isn't bad, though running around and avoiding moving hazards is almost as annoying as fighting them. Fortunately, at some point, an upgrade puts the enemies to sleep. I looked up Dinkum, and it looked promising, but then I saw commenters on Steam complaining about the mines. (I guess there are others like me who question why games in this genre have so much combat.) There are apparently mods that neutralize the mines, so maybe that game is a suitable option with mods installed. I'll have to look closely at the others here. Any that are 100% peaceful will be high on my list for consideration.

Behind The Horizon made me think of Unreal World. Graphically that is. Gameplay wise it's a full on survival simulator from the early 90's, so not really a farming game, although I believe it has farming in it. The nature simulation in that goes pretty hard.

I loved No Place like Home in early access but full release was so disappointing. There were still so many little bugs (trash that you couldn't clean up, the monsters would hit you when they shouldn't have been able to or they get stuck in a wall, lots of little things) plus the ending just is crap. There are so many great things but there are also so many bad things.
I also loved Ooblets, it definitely deserves to be on this list. Most of the others are on my wishlist.
You should check out My time at Portia or My Time at Sandrock, they are my absolute favorites in the genre.

Correct me if i'm wrong But I presume Slime Rancher 1 and 2 are not on the list because they're more widely known.
Also Thank you for the reccomendations. Will be checking out at least 3 of the titles.
