As usual I'm going to be mixing thrift store bargain finds with a few DIY touches to try to create stylish home decor moments in our home. There are many things I love about social media but I just don't understand why people argue about which way to decorate is right. The only "correct" way to decorate is the one that makes your house feel like home. And your home is beautiful. I personally decorate my home with thrifted pieces, antiques, new items, diy items, and family heirlooms.

Love your style. I’m a retired decorative painter and I was going to suggest a grey putty tone for your tray redo but you figured it out for yourself. You learn a lot from trial and error.❤I totally agree that a mixture of eclectic styles are always best as long as it reflects your style. People always have something snarky and judgmental to say about everything but everyone’s home should truly reflect their own style. People are either all in with thrifting and love the hunt and savings or they simply don’t have the time or have a total aversion to it. To each his or her own!😂
