Thrift with Me for High End Home Decor \ Aesthetic Home Decor on a Budget

Hi friends, come thrift and yard sale with me! I found some great stuff this week and will show you my awesome thrift haul! I would pass on those bowls on principal. Thrift stores are now on par with retail sale prices, meaning many people with fewer resources have been priced out of the market

I would say no to anything in that first thrift store because they were all way too expensive for thrifting. Our world is getting so crazy our Goodwill store has prices the same or similar to brand new store-bought items and it is so heartbreaking

Love that art with the woman reading. Dark and light academia and cottagecore/farmhouse with a little touch of coquette items is what I'm trying to aim for. It's hard to choose when you like all of the above and trying to make it coherent. But I believe it's a possibility. A home that represents you and not based on magazines is all that matters.

I love those salt and pepper shakers! They match well in my 1885 kitchen! You found so many beautiful items. The bowls for $19.99.. probably too highly priced for a thrift store. They were cute but too much money. 😊

Tasha I absolutely love the salt and pepper shaker my grandparents (mammy & papa) which are now deceased now and I don’t know what happened to this set! I would love to have them as a sentimental reminder of them. I’m 64 now and these kinds of things mean so much to me. Also I loved your haul you chose some great finds, even the small stool I LOVE, God bless 🙏❤️

I would have purchased that set of bowls. When I'm on the fence I take a quick photo and then search with Google lens. It gives me an idea whether the price they're asking is worth it... Nice finds- I found my crock on FB marketplace. Eventually you can find just about anything!
