The speakeasy craze is nothing new, but what separates The Back Room from the rest of the pack is authenticity. It’s one of two New York City speakeasies that were actually open in the age of prohibition. We talked to manager Megan Bones about the space’s history. She was even nice enough to show us some of the secret rooms and exits along the way.
