‘Ridiculous’: PM slammed for ‘inexplicable’ reaction to ICC warrant

Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s lack of commentary on the ICC is “inexplicable”.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said he “very strongly” supports comments from US President Joe Biden in relation to the ICC.

Mr Dutton’s comments come after President Biden reaffirmed his support for Israel and rejected claims the war in Gaza is a genocide.

“Albo refusing to comment, this is ridiculous,” Mr Kroger told Sky News Australia.

“He has obviously not been properly briefed and I am sure in the shortness of time, he will come out and condemn the ICC.”
