I really wish there was an easier way to remove the front panel for cleaning, the space between the front panel and the drum is such a huge fire hazard with how much lint gets trapped there.

To replace the front panel, you do NOT need to unscrew the backsplash panel. You do NOT need to disconnect all the wires. And you do NOT need to remove the backsplash. If you do, you will want to swear. A lot of swearing. And you will sweat. A lot of sweating. Skip that part.
