The official music video for "The Real Thing" by Forget Tomorrow

Directed by Alex Kouvatsos at Blackwolf Imaging

Lyrics:

I think I'm ready for the real thing

I saw something
Something coming
So I started running in the other direction
Too afraid to find out just what could happen if I try
To let love in
To let love in

I think I'm ready for the real thing
Could I be ready for the real thing
I think I'm ready to let love in

Give me your word
Please don't break it
Always keep it real with me and never fake it

Truth be told
I'm scared out of my mind
I'll take care of your heart
If you take care of mine

I'm ready to let love in
To let love in
I never thought it was possible to let love in
To let love in
Yeah

They say love is a two way street
I'm on the wrong side
Wrong side of the road
And you're gonna hit me

Ready to let go

I think I'm ready for the real, real thing

I think I'm ready for the real thing
Could I be ready for the real thing
I think I'm ready to let love in
And I think I'm ready for the
Could I be ready for the real thing
Could I be ready for the real thing
I don't know if I'll be ready for the real thing
I think I'm ready to let love in

I see something
Something coming
But I'm not running away

It’s been two years since anyone heard anything from them. Are they just not a band anymore?

I don't usually post criticism but I feel like this band has potential. So here is my 2 cents: this song displays how much potential you guys have, however it's lacking something to separate you guys from the rest. I feel like your screamer, at least the style in which is being used, is the weak aspect. In addition, I read on one of your videos that you're dropping the unclean vocals and having him learn to sing. In my opinion, I think going the other way would be more beneficial. It broadens your audience more, and honestly most the people who I know usually listen to mainstream music. Yet when I show them bands like: ADTR, Issues, Palisades, In fear and faith, old school memphis may fire. They become fans. It's blending the unique sound you have and forming your own twist on the genre. Personally I think the screaming parts improve your sound, yet I think the screaming is the weakest part. Due to multiple factors: there isn't much power behind the voice, the screaming style is bland, or it could be completely the way it's mixed. Just some feedback :p
