'The Rat Lady' Lives With Over 50 Hairless Rats! | My Strange Addiction

Theresa has over 50 hairless rats who share her tiny studio apartment, and even sleep in her bed with her! They are effecting her relationship with her daughter and the rest of her family.

Rats are nice pets, she just has too many, and they probably shouldn't be eating cupcakes. She should have just gotten only males or only females so they wouldn't have multiplied like this.

The rats aren't the disgusting part. How she treats them is. I have 2 rats and they are incredibly docile, loving pets, but they're also very delicate. They need proper food, proper homes, and proper funds to pay for treatment WHEN (not IF) they get sick. This is disrespectful and cruel to the animals

She isn’t even taking care of the rats right! Why does she have rats when she can’t even pay the rent. This is not an addiction btw, this is neglect and hoarding it’s more disgusting than the concept itself

However! Her lack of care and those small housing are not ok. They are allowed some of those food items occasionally but to have healthy rats you need a good diet! Clean cages are a must, I have 7 and they have a double critter nation. She lets them free roam which is great, but that looks dirty and unsanitary! I hope everything gets better for her.

Awww, I love her rats, they're so cute. I dont agree with the foods or cages or living conditions they're in, but rats are honestly very amazing animals, they're intelligent and sociable and loveable animals, I have 4 rat boys of my own, they're honestly amazing animals, they're very misunderstood, I wish that people would understand them, rats rarely spread dieses or bite unless they're in a life it death situation. I would have adopted a a hairless rat with half a tail and 3 legs, and one blind in one eye, they all have different personalities and attitudes.
They're honestly amazing animals and as long as they're taken care if property they'll be you're best friend for their entire life, I say the rats lives because they onky live 3 years, 4 if you're lucky
