Just like any other position in a Motorcycle Club the Sponsor is very important. Duties of a Sponsor for a Prospect is a key vital part of the development of the future possible member. He grooms and molds the prospect into a positive addition to the nation. He would guide that prospect into having a great long MC career. I can't remember but i know there was a great article on this topic where I got good info while back. I think Biker Liberty published an article on this last year that had great information. I am currently a Sponsor. I dont bother him like most do. He's Prior service. I laid my expectations out to what I want to see. He understands. The Man Picks my brain. Any questions or concerns he talks to me. I dont treat him like a kid. Hes a man before anything. He Doesnt get in trouble. I dont get phone calls.

As a Sponsor you are not there to baby sit. You are there to lay out the guidelines and see if they will follow orders. Remember... They want to be here, should not be that YOU want them here. IF they truly want to be apart of a organization they will pick your brain. They will try to ride on those rides with other patch holders. LET the Fresh meat work for it. Dont make yourself work to make it work for them. Your just there to watch them. Not baby sit. A grown man makes a decision. Sometimes letting them decided for their own selves, they will either leave or stay. If they stay. They Stay because they want too.

Why force or babysit someone whos not even sure. That makes no sense. Then you bring in a fake brother that can cause issues. Rather have 4 quarters than 100 Pennies. Quality over Quantity. If they dont work out. Fuck em. Another day to ride on. They make it or not, not your concern. It will be if they are fucking up bad! Be careful who you bring around. Why work harder when you can simply tell them know and express to your chapter when they vote on their Prospect patch. Make them work for it. Dont give it to them.
