College Board rejects Florida claims on African American Studies

The College Board described claims from Florida's Department of Education and Gov. DeSantis as "slander" and a "PR stunt." WESH's Greg Fox reports.

At the College level the vast majority of students are no longer minors, and as adults they are more than within their right to choose whatever course interests them without having to justify it to you. And the College or University is well within their right to offer it.

This seems like a North East / Federal education thing because I was taught about some black history in public school in New Jersey. I can't say it was bad education. I don't think it's bad for black kids to hear about, but I don't think it's necessary for everyone either. I suppose history is a picky subject, especially in this modern age of internet answers.
