Riefenstahl (2024) (Trailer) | 4K AI Short Film

"Riefenstahl" delves into the enigmatic and controversial life of Leni Riefenstahl, a filmmaker whose artistry was marred by her deep entanglement with Nazi propaganda – which she vehemently and violently denied throughout her life.

Drawing on rigorous academic research, the series employs a rich cinematic language to explore how Riefenstahl's mastery of visual propaganda helped shape, define, and ultimately distort reality and destroy lives in her personal pact with Hitler, leaving an indelible impact on both history and the art of filmmaking.

This is a concept trailer for the project as a limited TV series. The trailer was made entirely with AI image and video tools. I used Midjourney V6 for AI image creation and Luma.AI Dream Machine V1 for AI video creation. The voices and many of the sound effects were generated in Elevenlabs. ChatGPT helped immensely with planning, brainstorming, proofreading, and constant collaboration. EpidemicSound provided the score music and additional sound effects.

I didn't notice "AI Short Film" in the title before I watched. You fooled me for about 50 seconds. The quick splicing of shots helped make the imagery seem very real.
I'm not sure I agree with using AI for this type of art, but I can't deny your skills as a prompter/editor. Congrats.
