You're a good man, Konstantin. You are an example of what Russia can be with kindness, friendship and intelligence. Keep up the good work.

The video is still heartbreaking to watch. We often overlook the tragic consequences of those in Russia have had to go through because it looks different from what those in Ukraine are currently facing. It is just a different kind of tragedy created by the same entity.

I tried to put myself in your shoes. Thinking about all the things I would have to do in order to pick my life up and start life all over again….scary. It is a lot more than what can be captured on video. Most of us may never be able to fully grasp the enormity of what you and many others fleeing for their lives had to go through, but your video certain allows us to try.

Thank you for making that video. I am so sorry that all of this is happening. Somethings will never make sense. Continued prayers to you and everyone affected by this war. So many people in both countries are having to deal with heartbreak. I think that most people overlook the fact that many people from Russia are effected deeply as well.

KONSTANTIN!!! Wow man your last two videos have taken me down a road that I would never want to have to travel upon. I love every video you have made but this step-by-step personal experience that you have been through and sharing it with us is above and beyond my friend. Such a personal experience that you have expressed here and I'm thankful that you trust us with those experiences. I'm so happy that you made it out safely and I'm so thankful that you share your stories and personal experiences and thoughts with his all. Keep on keeping on Konstantin 🥰‼️🙏❤️

I live in Canada, in a border town (Canada/US border). During the Vietnam war, young Americans crossed into Canada by the thousands to flee from obligatory military service as soon as they became of age because they didn’t want to be sent to that war…. A lot of them never went back to the US. We always hope there will never be another war……..

KONSTANTIN, I remember when you were in line to leave Russia, you just got through the door. And another Russian, that close to leaving was detained. It's certain, at least in my mind, that God was with you, that he had a plan for you that only you could fulfill . He knows each of us like the back of his hand.

Very touching and moving live stream Konstantin.

I have multiple close family history of starting in a new country with the shirt on your back so have a semblance of appreciation and understanding.

You are indeed on a path that is bigger than you, even if a little bumpy (excuse the pun). Keep following it and sharing where it leads.

Dear Konstantin. I know you are a good and compassionate person. The best Russian I know. I understand very well how tragic and traumatic everything is and was. But I have also seen Ukrainian men and families saying goodbye to their wives and children at the Polish-Ukrainian border. That was traumatic for me and has had a lasting effect on and changed(!) my own career as a German. I wish us all peace and happiness!!! ❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing your story. My grandfather was forced to leave Latvia in the 1940’s with his young family (my mom was 4). He escaped to a displaced person’s camp and later found sponsors in America - which is why I have freedom today. His brothers did not escape and got sent to the Gulag. Your story helps me understand how he must have felt at that time. He’s long since passed away, but I feel so close to him now through your story. Thank you! I appreciate now that I know his story better than before. ❤

I remember when me and brother left my country. I couldn't speak english and I was very scared, because i didn't know how everything will be in UK. I am in UK now with all family ( dad, sister and mom) came here. It was not easy, but I helped 3 of them. I feel very proud of my country Lithuania now. I like in UK aswell. I found job and learnt language. My mom learnt language too and my sister is going in school in here, but I think of my country all the time. I love my country, but I like UK too. My dad is working in here. I feel happy now. Wish you all the best.

Very impactful and very personal! Your story brought back memories of my grandparents and great grandparents, and their stories of how they escaped the Russian Empire prior to the Holocaust. I wouldn't be here today if they weren't brave and courageous enough to leave everything that they have ever known in the "old country"! Best of luck on your personal journey, and may you always feel good and confident in your own decisions!

All the things you went through, my people went through, (6 million of them) only they would be killed if caught, they had to take their kids with them, they did not have money, they were poor folk mostly, or those that put their children on the kinder transports to go to strangers not knowing if they'd ever be reunited, those that were caught knew they were dead (buried alive like my great grand aunt and four children) or sent to ovens, or buried in mass graves with no marker. They were not all educated as you are, they did not speak English, as you are able to. The lucky ones got away and began new lives as you've done. Their country and their government betrayed them, and sometimes their neighbors too. Why? Because they were Jewish. But it's happened to many peoples who have been targets of genocide. And many people who have the misfortune that their country was taken over by madmen, or attacked by madmen. And these same things are happening to Ukrainians. It isn't just the having to get out, it's all the small but important things and emotions that go along with all that. Some people left with just the clothes on their backs, not two suitcases and a backpack. Just about any Jewish person, and probably any other people who've been targets will know exactly the things you spoke of and will understand the cost emotionally.

It says a lot about you that when you knew that you would be fleeing the country and leaving your life behind, the first thing you thought was that you had to get the snow tires on the car because you did not want to leave your wife with this task, in addition to all the other responsibilities that she would now have to shoulder on her own.
