Education in Germany is free if you're moving out of Germany after you education. Most of the students indeed try to stay in Germany after their education, and the taxes which they pay afterwards (about 50%) are effectively equivalent to paying an education loan in USA. Just because you're not paying it up front does not mean it is free. This is just basic economics.

AOA, this is Ali Khan from Pakistan. I'm a lawyer by profession, not much experienced though, I'm a fresh graduate, but yeah I got my license so technically I can call myself a lawyer. My age is 23 with no education year gap. In fact, I happen to secure 85+ percent score throughout my educational journey, including 3.8 CGPA in my bachelor's of laws. I'll be done with my Ielts by the end of this month; hopefully, I can get my hands on Band 7 score. Bottom line, I want to do my LLM (Master of Laws) and intend to get settled overseas.

I have only two questions
1. How do i get a scholarship
2. Is passing the B1 German language proficiency test for PR out of the box or is it easy to pass? ( In other words how challenging? Because as a non native, I'm really blank about how I'm supposed to learn a completely new language, provided that I barely know a word or two about it.
