A few corrections:
1. Please pretend that the first slide is labeled "Prehistoric Sri Lanka" and not "Ancient Hawaii." I was sleepy.
2. Kotte did not completely conquer Jaffna until 1453, as opposed to 1450 as this video suggests.
3. The land bridge between Sri Lanka and India actually existed until 1480, when it was submerged by a storm.

One of them in the beginning of the video is, you have marked vedda people as historical tribal groups even before Thambapanni kingdom. When it comes to Sri Lanka some still believe first to arrive island should belong to them. Please name me one country, where first in the land administer the country. Britain? Usa? New Zealand? What about India? Pakistan?. Secondly Sinhalese is a mix of many clans. It not a clan from Bangladesh. Otherwise Sinhala language would be found in Bengal. Sinhala is a mix of the first clans living in Sri Lanka, the hela clans, most likely dravidians. They were the Nagas Yaksha Raksha Devas, whom would be proto dravidian and Veddas. The oldest bow found out of africa is in Sri Lanka according to Forbes, this is long before Sinhala or Tamil, this bow dated to about 20, 000 years ago, according to Forbes.
With Vijaya arrival, from Vanga/Kalinga, it is said his wife was from Madurai, therefore likely Pandyan Tamil. The mixing of the hela clans/Pandyan Tamil/ Kalingas with adoption of Buddhism formed a unique Sinhala identity. With Buddhism we adopted a indo aryan language Pali. Furthermore we can clearly see throughout Sinhala history they have always been involved in Kalinga and Pandyan affairs. Lord Buddha tooth came from Kalinga. We took part in Pandyan civil wars and hiding their crown jewel etc. Anyhow we slowly moved away from influence of these kingdoms and formed a unique identity, by mixing with the native clans of Sri Lanka. It just like the cheras moved away from Tamilakam and formed a malayali identity. Another example it is said maldives was Buddhist and heavily Sinhala influenced, prior to that dravidian influenced. Later they chose Islam as their religion and formed their own unique identity, by adopting the Arabic language.
