I love this being a WEC game. The 3 categories of WEC car are so different and all feel and look great and the circuits are some of the best in the world. I really hope this gets the love it deserves from Motorsport Games as with the right treatment and with the promised 2024 cars too it really could be fantastic.

Cold tyres, green track, enters corner too quick and wonders why it spins :) joking aside, this sim has HUGE potential, currently my favorite sim

The Hypercars feel very much alive in LMU and very challenging. Its demanding, but very much fun.

For anyone struggling to feel what the car is doing through the ffb: for me it helped a LOT to turn the feedback strength above 100%, as the clipping was barely noticeable, if not, even completely absent. I could feel the weight transfer sooo much more.

First off, I’m an huge iRacing fan and it’s my sim of choice but the engaging feel I get whilst driving this game is on another level to the equivalent cars in iRacing. Maybe it’s because I’ve done so many laps in iRacing that new is novel, but I find I’m having to concentrate so much more to eek out those extra tenths in LMU. There’s more variance to the lap due to the slip angles and throttle control is on another planet to other sims. I feel now like I’m driving the car, rather than driving the game. MSG are sitting on a goose that can, hopefully, lay the golden egg.

I agree on the ACC comparison. Assuming they don't go bankrupt this could be great.

I will seriously consider getting LMU but ONLY if the UI becomes more reliable & intuitive, eg comparable to R3E & AMS2.

You forgot to mention the incredible audio in LMU! The sound makes the immersion complete imho.

I can confirm driving a lmp2 car irl on cold tyres and cold brakes - the car is genuinely evil. Good review

For me it shows how behind he curve iRacing is from a pure image quality standpoint

Well it has everything I like in a racing game, physics-wise. The suspensions and tires feel alive like in ACC but the ffb doesn't feel floppy. From a rally and drifting enjoyer, the driving feels more involved than in iRacing where you either have grip or you slide out.

Excellent information. Lots of experience with RF2 and a bit in Iracing and what is said is on point and fair. Thank you

LMU is so engaging and I love how the FFB vibrates and starts "breaking down" as you push the limit of grip in long turns. I'm so smitten with the physics and ffb. It doesn't feel over the top like RF2, which I don't like. LMU is currently my favorite sim. I'm so glad I bought early access.

I like that you have to warm the tires, makes it feel a live and not just a game.. Very cool so far

Yo pro tip. Theres an option in task manager that makes it always show on top of other programs. Saves a lot of headache!

You are so right, Emree: everything you said is true! The good and the bad...
You just forgot to say (at the very beginning, let me kindly say) that LMU has been released in Early Access. But I understand the goal of the video itself and the fact that at some point you mentioned the EA release way
Last but not least: ACC - which I love so much - was released the same way... Can you believe it at playing ACC now? The day it was released (in Early access) it had 1 track, 1 car, no triple screen support, etc etc
Anyway, well done as always

The really cold tyres are due to it replicating tyre warmers been banned in WEC so the tyres are freezing cold when you come out the pits

Very good review. I felt the same about how the FFB doesn't really give much information on corner entry, especially in the hypercars. But it's early access, and I think they have a good foundation.

It automatically configured my fanatec CSW2.5 though

Good video, thank you. Because of the sliding in curves, try adjusting the differential, this often helps me to have an optimal slipping effect 🏁😎✌️
