An Easy DIY Job on my Toyota Sienna
👇👇 Click “Show More” for Stuff you probably want to know! 👇👇

How I replaced a Windshield Washer Nozzle on the hood of my 2010 Toyota Sienna. There are a few tricky steps to accomplish, but you can easily do this in an hour on your driveway and save a bunch of money.

PLEASE NOTE: TWO MONTHS LATER I had to do it all over again, as the OTHER nozzle then broke. I should have just replaced both of them at the same time. Just FYI.

Also, I know, I totally missed the fact that there was a clip-removal tool in that package of assorted retainer clips!

(Toyota OEM part. I did NOT use these, but here they are if
you want what I think is the exact Toyota part.)

For Toyota Sienna 2004-2010 model.

(I bought mine from amazon.ca, could not find the exact same one on amazon.com but there are many to choose from that look pretty much identical)

That's exactly why a 68 yr old on a fixed income is here watching and learning. Do people just love how the auto makers make things so complicated that often only service at a dealer or collision shop can? Thankfully a 2000 Honda Accord V6 is simple compared to this Toyota. I guess in 2000 makers across the board hadn't started complicating simple repairs for profit yet. I'm halfway through and talking the firewall off has me LOL There was easy access, that firewall didn't need to be removed. Thank you for your video. It gave me a couple tips that are valuable. Great instructions. Saved a lot of money doing it myself.💰

Thank you so much. I was able to replace mine in less than 5 minutes after watching this. Lucky for me those caps on my hood lining didn't break

Thank you for capturing everything and being specific on how to pull it out and also reattaching the shroud and what clips worked! Really helpful!

Between this vid and a little advice from my bro, I just replaced the sprayer on my Grand Caravan on my own. Thank you!

Art, thank you for posting this video. It was well made and easy to follow. All I needed was this little boost to do it myself and save about $50 on the repair cost. I actually found the replacement nozzle for only $2 online.

thank you for saving me about 200 minutes of frustration trying to figure it out for myself. :)

Perhaps it’s been stated above, but you don’t have to remove the liner. Just use that access hole and you can wedge it out just like you did, and angle it just right to allow the back side to slide out. That’s how the offset clip height is designed.

Thank you for your valuable video, telling you that I really took only 5 minutes to change them, I even did not open the hood, I just changed it from the top with small screwdriver. But the thing I would like to mention that when buying a new nozzles, buy a good one, mine was not that good quality I wanted. Thanks again and good luck everyone!

Great vid, thanks. As a DIY job it might make sense to replace them both while you've got the shroud off. Waiting for a warm day to do mine.

Thank you for making that video. I did what you showed and bought the same stuff to fix my 2005 Sienna. Appreciate it.

Nice video and thanks for sharing it. I actually just pried my broken nozzle from the top of the hood rather than going underneath and removing the liner. I cut the end of the tube since there was plenty of slack and just reattached the new nozzle and snapped it back in.

I have an '09 Sienna and the passenger side went out. Bought a pair and decided to replace both. It just clips right in. Hardest part was definitely removing those obnoxious clips from the insulation/hood cover. Otherwise the job was pretty quick and easy. Thanks👍

I got lucky on my 2014 dodge ram pickup, the years of sunshine here in texas made it easy by making the jet sprayer brittle and mine just crumbled out.
