I can't wait until QD-OLED is available in the 32 to 42 inch size range. Hopefully including a well implemented black frame insertion feature (25% of frame time persistence would be good), bringing motion quality closer to CRT quality.

If my tv was transparent you'd see all the wires and bracket behind it.

I'm happy that it seems like QDOLED and regular OLED will start being the standard like lcd is now

Wondering why LG was hesitant about referring to MLA technology. These damn sets are getting so damn expensive. It’s stupid

So close. NanoLED, QD-OLED or MLA tech OLED, or frankly any modern OLED in 16:9 32 inches to 38 inches would be really nice.

Vincent, do you think MLA could be licenced to combine with QD-OLED? or do you think MLA is solving a problem that QD-Oled does not have?

Do you think that it'll be possible for TV manufacturers to fuse MLA and QD-OLED technology in the future like a hybrid screen?

I believe the 70% brighter statement from LG isn't being used to compare the G3 to all conventional OLED brands as you suggest. LG is only quantifying the increase in brightness as compared to last year's B2 model. To insinuate that the G3 is 70% brighter than ALL conventional OLED brands is misleading!

A led w/ 5k dimming zones sounds fantastic. my QLED has 500 and it works great. MicroLED is obviously the tech I'm most excited about.

is there any info on the Rolling Scan BFI? That's probably the only feature making OLEDs a must and the C2 almost got rid of it. On my BX I use the medium setting for 120Hz 120fps signals but high for 60Hz 60fps signals crushes dark tones and it's unusable... I hope this microlens arrays solve that problem, if they solve it then we are one step closer to stop worrying about our CRTs stop working of old age

3 days ago I was researching what tv to buy and I ruled out Hisense simply because of how model specs changed per region so glad to see that dodgy practise changing. Ive been waiting 5 years for a practical 27 inch oled monitor to come out so glad to see its on the horizon, hopefully they solve the text clarity issue by then so its a true no compromise monitor replacement. Those improved energy efficiencies are a big draw card for my solar powered life's needs also...

does less power consumption mean lower chance of burn in ?

Where are the miniLED QD LCD panels? I'd love to get one from Sony

QD-OLED will still be the prevailing tech for sure, but META OLEDs could be so close it might not matter. Unfortunately Samsung S90C will be DOA because of its lack of Dolby Vision. Will have to see how LG C3 and the Sonys look before my next purchase.
