The problem with one connect boxes is they can get lost if somebody is getting rid of a TV that may be useful to somebody else used.
So not only would somebody have to worry about if the TV has the remote with it, they have to worry about if there's going to be the one connect box too.

In my opinion Panasonic and LG knocked it out of the park this year at CES. But watch out for Hisense because they also had an impressive lineup this year.

The concept of the LG M3 looks flawed to me. 4k Panel with G3 processing, Signature series (Big Bucks), with two separate units (Input box and the Panel) requiring different power sources.

How did the colour volume and saturation look on the lg g3? Just curious as you mentioned that Last year's g2 suffered from colour wash out at high brightness levels so I wondered if the new mla technology boosts colour volume?

What's to stop Panasonic setting up last years TV in such a way as to artificially accentuate the benefits of its latest TV? How would one know?

All you here about is QD oled, I have the A95k and it's barely better than the wrgb Panasonic LZ2000 oled. And it much better than S95b , give Panasonic new tech like MLA and they will show you how it's done .

Thanks for the roundup. I may have missed it but I didn't hear any manufacturers say anything about reducing OLED burn-in this year. For those of us looking for the perfect 4k display to use as a PC monitor, but without the dreaded risk of burn-in, which do you think will happen first, and when - burn-in free OLED or per-pixel micro LED with OLED equivalent dynamic range? Thank you.

The micro lense array was developed by LG not Panasonic

I feel like there was absolute minimum of information at this CES. Only talk was QD-OLED. Sorry but I don't only care about OLED. As long as ASBL exist, OLED is more or less No go for me.
I am very interested in advancements in Neo Qled and MiniLED. I want to know zone counts, processing and other tech improvements etc.

People sleeping on MiniLED is stupid IMO. It has advanced so much it's almost OLED level but no ASBL crap or micro stuttering in panning etc. Much higher APL as well for HDR impact.
I don't live in a dark cave.

Brighter, brighter - thats the story coming from all tvs the last few years. But does anybody measure if this is also good for eye-health? I have my doubts. My old vt60 plasma is surely darker than all of todays tvs, but I can watch it for 3 hous without any problem. Can you do that with these "nits-monsters"?
