Warriors Ball Movement 16/17

Показать описание
The Golden State Warriors are NBA champions. Is there really more that needs to be said? It’s not often a team that wins a league best 67 games and wins a title gets better the following year, but they followed it up by winning an NBA RECORD 73 games and coming within one win away from repeating as champions. It is HIGHLY unlikely to say that anything would have made that team drastically better (besides one more win in the Finals), but the Dubs did become DRASTICALLY better in the summer before the 2016-17 regular season. The two-time reigning Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry, the human heat check Klay Thompson, and Defensive Player of the Year repeat runner-up Draymond Green, were joined by former MVP and scoring champion Kevin Durant, to form the most fearsome foursome in the league today, the “Fantastic Four” as some have come to call them. With the sensational Steve Kerr at the helm, the Warriors ripped open the league, to the tune of another 67 win season, and ran through the playoffs, going undefeated through 12 games. In the Finals, they faced the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first threepeat ever. A Golden State-Cleveland finals trilogy ended in the Dubs overcoming the almost undefeated (in their conference) Cavaliers and avenging last season’s loss. The Warriors joined the 1983 Philadelphia 76ers (of Moses Malone’s “Fo, Fo, Fo” fame) and the 2001 LA Lakers (led by titans Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant) as the only teams EVER to win the title and only suffer ONE loss.
