Honda is straight up selling the best stock setup in a motorcycle period! The thing is a blank slate for modders and tuners, a well rounded commuter for those wanting to keep it stock as well as a nice and even better beginner/intermediate bike for riders wanting to refine their skills and have fun ! All in all an excellent investment!

You didn't mention a huge improvement, the replaceable oil filter. I considered that and the 5th gear the two most compelling reasons to buy this new model.

This grom looks actually sick. I never had a motorbike, but I always wanted a grom. Could treat this so good and I love how it looks. Nice small and fast when you need it to be

Honda for 2022: The CRF300L looses the removable subframe and the Grom gets a removable subframe. Interesting.
Really cool that Honda has been taking some of our feed back!

I like the revisions but I’m still more of a fan of the sf looks. Removable subframe and 5spd is cool. I like the oil filter too.

I have to say I like the previous gen better. If I was the designer of that bike I was just took a previous generation and put a 5 speed transmission And give it a bigger bore to a 150cc from the factory.

I love the look but hot damn its so annoying how many people don't give it a chance, I think it looks great! I adore the looks of the SF but I like how they gave it a slight throwback to the OG's clean look

Looking to learn how to ride my first bike (doing an MSF course this summer), so this might be right up my alley.

Honda has always followed the aftermarket closely and responds well. That is quite evident in the new seat, clutch cover, and 5 speed. Of course, those are the easiest and most cost effective to make to a production unit. It's not like we're going to see Ohlins level quality suspension any time soon, but then, that would be a major price jump.

Just ordered my pearl white... can't wait to see what aftermarket options come out

Looks wise i liked the old seat better but I’ve never sat on one so whichever is more comfortable is what I’d want. I just think the old style looks better. The digital dash, 5th gear, and replaceable oil filter I think are the biggest improvements

Prefer the “sporty” look of the last gen Grom. New one has an “ADV” look. What’s with the giant body bolts?? I think they should have made an “ADV” style as well as a “sport” style. Give the ADV version some knobbies, less body work, and a little more suspension, give the sport model some grippy rubber and more fairings.

Nice video! Close to having one to fab some parts for it. I would like some blinkers for handle bar ends, but maybe with different attachments (rubber plug style expanders some use to keep them in bars like the universal freeze plugs have ) so buyers can add to stock or fat bars. Reason I want blinkers some where else is because I want to mount some extra l.e.d head lamps where the blinkers usually mount, but mainly to have something different. Thx.

I owned a first edition model in the UK. I had it while owning an ER6N and MT09 a did more miles on it that both of them put together.
