We have 1.2 hectares on a mountain in Tagaytay. It’s quiet, cool, and has creeks in front and back of our house. Plus we built a wall to keep the dogs out. 3, 200 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bathrooms with custom woodwork throughout and big garage. Put our first solar system in to cut back on Meralco, and have a way to charge our phones, tablets, watches, and keep the freezer and refrigerator going when the power goes off.

Just a great interview: big thanks Mike and Paul ( and those were great questions you asked the interviewer, Paul ).

These two are wonderful people; that they can sit and listen and even throw back questions back to the interviewer. The art of good conversation.

Chad, never seen your channel until now. I lived in the Philippines for 8 months in Valencia and visited many places and now live in Thailand. I don't know Mike but have seen a few of his video's. Paul I have known personally for over 4 years and all what you guys had to say is spot on facts.

I got a PO Box here in Gulignhan City. I have no problem receiving mail from America it takes 30 days from America to Philippines. It costs me 2000 pesos or $40.00 a year. It's well worth it in my eyes to receive bank statement or VA mail

Chad, good interview.... I liked how Old Dog Q'ed you as well to bring in a fuller comparison of Older vs Younger perspectives. Glad you were able to wrangle them into an interview and get their insights. Peace and Love, B Goat

Hahaha! You're right. We value personal hygiene. If you are on a dating phase be sure to take care of your appearance and smell. Take a bath everyday. If you sweat profusely, take a bath twice or thrice. Have a good haircut, shave your facial hair. Use perfume. Dress well. Court the lady. Speak kindly or be polite. I tell you, you'll get a girlfriend. Then take it from there. Be real. Your feelings will be reciprocated. 😊

Fair questions to ask how you want to spend the final days of your life. God bless you paul and mike.

This is a great vlog. This cuts through much of the fluff presented in so many vlogs about retirement in the Philippines. Just an informative, honest and straightforward posting packed full of so much truth and clarity! Excellent! 😊

One of the best interviews ever for real down to earth conversations about living there. Yes you all have done similar videos before but this one is good a reactional video when you are together. Lots of good advise. I would agree with the end comments. You know when you meet the right one. All relationships are transactional!!! Just find a woman with real depth of character. Look at her mother and her family. If they are still happy even though they are dirt poor. A woman who is willing to learn and absorb knowledge about the outside world. Love her, respect her, and teach her and live out the remaining years happily.

Hey Chad, love your channel and your content. Mike just did a video with Paul and it was pretty funny, really enjoyed it. Am guessing the editing was the only thing different here, or maybe a few more beers....lol Still a good video and glad to have watched it. Keep up the great work, Chad...Jim

Thank ya'll so much for your time and wisdom. Thinking about retirement in the Philippines but I have sister in law that owns a house 20 miles south of Manila so it should be a little easier for me to just come and see if it's really a good move. Fishing, site seeing and church is all I'm really looking for.

Good answers to good questions. You three should do more vids together.
