I recently lost 52 pounds at a time in my life that was the most stressful and discombobulated, and that was during remote teaching, starting last March 2020. I used this time to research how my body has changed due to peri menopause and being in my late 40s. I changed my whole thought process about eating and exercising, and decided that my body did not let me down, but rather I had let it down. I stopped blaming it for the things that I couldn’t do and started celebrating the things I could do, like being able to complete a rigorous exercise program. I would love a candle because I truly love my body now and not loathe it as before, and it took me so long to do that. I am 49 and I think the candle would be a wonderful award for accomplishing so much

I love those candles! I’m a psychiatrist and I’d love to keep one on my desk in my office to help all my patients practice self love. Also I’m so glad you said you are in NZ, I have been watching you for a while and I thought you sounded Australian (forgive my American ears) and I was surprised you were talking about fall fashions when you are coming up on spring! Here in the US (NJ) we are starting fall. And I LOVE the “boogie” knits. I just taught my 81 year old mom the word boogie recently!!

Great knits update, thanks. I love the bougie and preppy ones. I would add ponchos in the cape section, too. I like short, but not cropped styles that end at or just below the waist, too, and of course, duster cardigans. And sets. The only trend I won’t go for is the bright colors, they don’t suit me well and I think they’re harder to style.

I would enjoy a my body candle! I'm 72. Just retired! Could use a reminder that I can be grateful for my body no matter what shape I'm in!

Thanks for doing a video focused just on knitwear! I absolutely love sweaters - pullovers, cardigans, long, short, fitted, loose, cables, lace, color, etc., etc., and, also being a knitter, they are my favorite item to knit 😄. I actually want to add a classic Breton pullover to my collection, since those go with everything, and doing a Fair Isle pullover is on my “to knit” list as well.

I’m not personally into candles, but I have to say that I think your friend’s candle collection is really neat from a body acceptance perspective and also I like it as a sculpture.

Cheers 💕

OMG the women body candle is beautiful I love the pink. This is a great reminder that we as real women are all fabulous. I teach my granddaughters each day that our bodies are individually beautiful.

I love these trends that we are able to look at and adapt for us to wear whatever age or size we are. I would look to win a body candle. I had to lose 102lbs in weight before my specialist would carry out a total hip replacement for me. What with lose skin and now a large scar it is still lovely to celebrate a body that has done so much for me x

My favorites in this line up are the cropped sweaters but as long as they're not shorter than 20" in length (to keep my tummy warm). They look sharp with high waisted pants/jeans and elongate the body. I'm 5'6" so I can do with a little
more body elongation!
Many thanks again for keeping us in the loop, Leonie!

I love the 'My Body Candles'; what a fabulous and positive thing to do. I'd be happy with any colour, shape or size...and I'd never light it. Too beautiful to burn ❤

It not officially Fall and we were down in the 50 this morning which is a bit chilly, so it sweater weather for me and leaf raking (ugh!). I like how you had these broken down and I so much like the idea of the new look in shrugs style coverings. Candle in Tan or Black would are the ones I am vibing with, it would have been nice to see one in mocha. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

Love the ombre sweater. The cropped cardis are perfect for keeping summer dresses in the Fall rotation, along with the boleros and capes 😊

Your friend is brilliant! Her My Body candle is similar to my 58yr old surgically scarred torso. I am light skinned but it doesn’t matter what color I would receive. The message of the candle is what matters❣️🕯

Thank you for this video, I’got some ideas for me to knit new pieces for my mother, my daughter and for myself:)) As for the candles - it’s such an important thing created with cute little sweet candles - making each woman feel free and pleased with her body) Regardless of whether she is fat or thin, tall or short, young or already in old age. We live in a wonderful time - on the pages of magazines and on television, we see the emergence of new “standards" of beauty. And I want to believe that soon a woman will not have to experience embarrassment or suffering because of new wrinkles or a non-standard figure, and society will stop imposing on women the need for constant striving for unattainable, sometimes completely unnecessary "ideals".

The candles are beautiful promoting body positivity. I believe every body shape is perfect. I would prefer a Carmel color candle to match my skin tone. Congrats to the artist🎉

I live in India, I would actually love to send this body candle gift to my friend who does not feel good about her weight, and has been working so hard to reduce it. I want her to just feel positive about the way her body is, irrespective of whether she works out or not. She would absolutely love this candle and hopefully even start to feel a bit more positive about her body!
Regardless of the giveway, I absolutely love your videos and I am a fashion student at Istituto Marangoni, your videos help me SO MUCH in following up with the latest trends and its so interesting to watch!
Lots of love❤️

Thank you for the sweater ideas and thank you for the candle giveaway. I hope your friend greatly succeeds in her venture. I would use the candle as a way to work on my body image. Any color is beautiful.

I love your friends candle! It looks more like my body shape and I really appreciate that!! As for color, they are all beautiful but I'm drawn to the stunning black body candle. I love the idea of spending time each week, meditating, reflecting, and sitting in positity.
