In this video I share my thoughts on reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and both The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Agnes Grey by Anne Brontë. I also share some quick videos and pictures from my day trip to Haworth, and finally share the books I purchased from the Brontë Parsonage Museum.

In the video, whilst discussing the works of Anne, I mention her use of realism, which is an observation made by Katie from the Channel Books and Things @katiejlumsden . I'm sure anyone watching my videos will already be a subscriber and fan of this channel, but if you're not then check it out, as Katie discusses all kinds of literature, not just the classics, although I have to say that her videos on Dickens, the Brontës and Trollope are among my favourites.

Interesting! Wutheriing Heights is so otherworldly. I particularly enjoyed your views on Tenant. I read Wuthering Heights and Tenant a very long time ago, but they've always stayed with me. Agnes Grey, not so much. I've only read Charlotte much more recently. The last one I have left is Villette. I want to read it this year---but I've been putting it off, because I hate the idea that I have no more Brontë novels left to read for the first time.

Hello, new subscriber from books and things.
Have you read Fifteen wild Decembers by Karen Powell? A historical novel about the Bronte Family, told through the eyes of Emily. Definitely worth a read ❤. Great vlog.
